This mechanism is designed for the rapid & accurate counting of bacterial & mould colonies in open or closed Petri dishes. The digital display allows counts up to 4 digits using just felt tip pen. There is an audible confirmation of each. Count to give you confidence in your measurement. To allow optimum viewing of colonies there is a 100 mm dia magnifier for glare free illumination. Adjustable focusing rod allows a magnifier to be raised or lowered & rotated 360 deg. For easy access to culture plate. A zero/reset control switch is located next to the display. This is mains operated with built in stabilizer.
